Job Summary

The Sales Operations team is at the forefront of the ongoing transformation in Media Solutions division at Comcast Advertising. The Sales Operations team is the is responsible for the execution of Sales/Go-To Market Strategy via Strategic Initiatives. The Senior Manager, Sales Operations role spearheads leading the execution of strategic initiatives for the sales teams, to ensure the effective long-term revenue growth. This role works cross-functionally with Media Solutions Strategy, Sales, Sales Development, Finance, Marketing, Product & People Experience and many more teams. The Senior Manager Sales Operations is a key member of the Comcast Advertising Sales Operations team, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Sales Operations while directly partnering with the VP Sales.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Initiatives

  • Translating strategy into operational execution, driving cross-functional initiatives, improving sales effectiveness, and ensuring measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize sales processes, organizational structures, and go-to-market execution.
  • Sales Strategy Initiatives Performance Review and Management – Periodic review of KPIs. Optimize where needed via cross-functional partnership.
  • Build processes and frameworks that connect strategic planning to operational delivery, ensuring visibility and accountability across all sales programs.
  • Sales Operations & Execution

  • Own sales operating cadence including sales leadership meetings, bi-weekly pacing meetings, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), pipeline reviews, and forecast calls.
  • Establish and improve sales processes across prospect‑to‑pay (lead routing, lead conversion, pipeline management and forecasting)
  • Ensure strong pipeline hygiene, deal quality, and execution discipline
  • Analytics, Insights & Forecasting

  • Deliver actionable insights using pipeline, performance, and revenue analytics
  • Own pipeline methodology and accuracy, in partnership with Sales and Finance
  • Develop executive‑ready reporting and dashboards highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Tools, Systems & Enablement

  • Drive adoption and optimization of CRM and sales technology stack (e.g., Salesforce, Waymark, Tableau and BI tools)
  • Translate sales strategy into effective tools, playbooks, and workflows
  • Partner with Learning & Performance to support onboarding, programs, and change management.
  • Cross‑Functional Leadership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Sales Development, Finance, Marketing, and Product
  • Support pricing, packaging, and incentive compensation design and governance
  • Lead special projects related to sales transformation, automation, or scale
  • Influence without authority—aligning diverse stakeholders to a single set of priorities and metrics.
  • Team Leadership

  • Build, develop, and lead a high‑performing Sales Ops team
  • Set clear priorities, KPIs, and development plans
  • Foster a culture of accountability, data‑driven decision making, and continuous improvement
  • Provides overall direction of the Product Sales Support and Analysis Team to drive lead generation, sales force database management, sales reporting and production/control of presentations and proposals.
  • Interfaces with appropriate internal group s (i.e., Accounting, Finance, Sales, Operations, IT and Legal Affairs) to ensure proper analysis of tracking and reporting.
  • Maintains a high level of technical expertise and sales proficiency to meet the reporting needs on client activity.
  • Manages report generation, sales packet compilation and ad-hoc administrative support of client prospecting, renewals and development.
  • Generates daily activity reports and reporting trends.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

New York Pay Range: $139,722.38 - $209,583.56

This job can be performed in Massachusetts with a Pay Range of $128,078.85 - $209,583.56

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
