Within our growing Hardware Engineering community, you'll have the opportunity to work on technology focused programs within our Precision Strike and Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) businesses. As a Hardware Lead, you'll have opportunity to own the engineering technical, cost, and schedule aspects of our projects with the freedom to lead and shape teams consisting of talented electrical, mechanical, optical, RF, as well as firmware engineers and designers. This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.

Required Skills and Education

  • BSEE+ with 10+ years and commensurate experience leading engineering teams
  • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance
  • Experience leading a team to include, but are not limited to: Electrical and Mechanical engineers, technicians, designers, and PCB layout (Multi-disciplinary)
  • Experience with design and development of products and services
  • Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance


Preferred Skills and Education

  • Current DoD Security Clearance
  • Experience implementing established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency
  • Sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers
  • Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates
  • Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements
  • Knowledge/experience with complex electrical and printed circuit board designs & developments
  • Knowledge/experience with opto-mechanical designs & developments
  • Knowledge/experience with missile seeker development
  • Experience with lasers, optics, and/or related IR technologies
  • Experience with RF technologies design
  • Experience designing for manufacturability
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering (MBE)
  • Experience with Agile development processes
  • Certification for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management technique
