Job Description

HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.

The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. Due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required. Candidate must be willing to obtain and maintain a CI poly.

End-user computing technician I: $65,000 - $85,000

End-user computing technician II: $80,000 - $105,000

End-user computing technician III: $100,000 - $125,000

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • You will provide advanced desktop support and hands on troubleshooting for end user computing environments, ensuring users have reliable, secure, and well functioning workstations, peripherals, and productivity tools.
  • In this role, you apply mid to senior level expertise to diagnose complex issues, support hardware and software lifecycles, and maintain a high quality user experience across the organization.
  • Key responsibilities include resolving escalated service desk tickets, performing workstation deployments and configurations, and supporting operating system and application updates.
  • You will troubleshoot Windows, and Citrix issues; configure and maintain endpoint security tools; and support peripheral devices, network connectivity, and user authentication problems.
  • You may also participate in hardware lifecycle planning, software packaging and distribution, and documentation of support procedures.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to process improvements, assist with inventory accuracy, mentor junior technicians, and ensure end user computing systems remain stable, secure, and aligned with organizational policies and operational needs.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years progressively responsible IT desktop administrator experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in the following:
    • Deploying and managing Windows or ThinLinux end-client solutions
    • Providing support to a variety of EUC platforms and applications such as thick, thin, and zero clients with Citrix Zendesktop, appV, Dell Wyse Manager, and Windows Terminal Services
    • Installing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting Microsoft and third-part applications
    • Patching operating systems and applications via MECM/SCCM, to include research, testing, installation, troubleshooting, and rollback.
    • Applying and maintaining a standard security configuration based on SRGs and STIGs.
  • TS/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain and maintain CI Poly
  • Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 451-Intermedediate or be willing to obtain the appropriate credential within 6 months


Preferred Requirements

  • Microsoft operating system formal training or vendor certifications
  • Experience leveraging scripting technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Batch, VBScript)
  • Familiarity with the following:
    • Remote monitoring and management tools to troubleshoot, assess, and resolve issues across a globally distributed IT enterprise
    • Basic network concepts and troubleshooting techniques
    • Supporting internally escalated tickets from a Service Desk team


Physical Requirements

Lifting, bending and stooping can be expected in this position to include installing equipment under desks or from ladders in office environments.
