  • 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations as PIC
  • Valid Class 1 Medical
  • NVG experience is an asset
  • Endorsement on S76 is a plus
  • Preferred experience in 703 Air Ambulance operations as a Captain
  • Experience flying in Eastern Canada is beneficial
  • Customer-focused with good communication skills

Join our elite crew and embark on an exciting career path within our industry. As one of top leaders in the industry, we have an exciting opportunity for a Captain on the SK76, in support of our Air Ambulance Operations in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a Captain as per Company operation standards;
  • Perform IFR Flights in challenging and rapidly changing environment;
  • Be able to work closely with our customer, respond efficiently to aircraft tasking, while maintaining a high level of safety;
  • Coordination and effective communication between crew and dispatch
  • All duties assigned by the Chief Pilot or Base Manager;
  • Transition period from First Officer to Captain role might be required.


Qualifications
  • A Valid and Unrestricted Transport Canada ATPL(H) License;
  • A Valid Canadian Passport or A Valid Authorization to work in Canada and to travel to USA, (this position is not available for sponsorship);
  • A Minimum of 2000 hours rotary wing flight time;
  • A Minimum of 500 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) which 200 hours of Multi-Engine Aircraft;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations with actual IFR flight hours as PIC;
  • Valid Class 1 Medical;
  • NVG experience an asset;
  • Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment application for NVG purposes;
  • Endorsement on S76 considered an asset;
  • Previous experience flying in a 703 Air Ambulance operation as a Captain is preferred;
  • Experience flying in Eastern Canada is considered an asset
  • Be customer focused and a team player;
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Immunization records with required vaccinations is mandatory.

Schedule:Shifts schedule, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off
