Full Job Description
Are you a proactive HR leader who thrives on building trust, strengthening workplace culture, and turning employee relations into a strategic advantage? As GAI's Employee Success Manager, you will champion a positive, compliant, and high-performing environment by leading programs that strengthen employee-supervisor partnerships, elevate the employee experience, resolve issues early, and help shape a culture where people and teams can do their best work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sets and advances a clear vision for employee relations that promotes a proactive, people-first culture, emphasizing early issue resolution, continuous feedback, and an exceptional employee experience aligned with organizational values and long-term business success.
  • Leads programs which support and enhance employee-to-supervisor partnerships, foster strong relationships, and maximum retention. Examples include Check-in and Exit Interviews, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Performance Plans, etc.)
  • Manages foreign national employee Visa work applications and processes.
  • Manages Worker's Compensation program including Experience Modification Rate (EMR) data and analytics, legal compliance, collaboration with W/C insurance carrier, claims management, and back to work program.
  • Manages and recommends resolutions to employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
  • Advises, coaches, and counsels managers and leaders on employee relations best practices, policies, and employment law compliance.
  • Conducts thorough, impartial investigations and documents findings and recommendations.
  • Develops and delivers training on workplace conduct, performance management, and employee relations topics.
  • Collaborates with HR and legal teams to ensure consistent and compliant handling of employee matters.
  • Analyze trends and data to identify potential risks and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Support the development and communication of HR policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
  • Promote a culture of respect, accountability, and inclusion across the organization.
  • Travels to GAI offices as needed to meet with staff and implement projects and tasks; otherwise, the workweek is a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Participate quarterly in SHRM local chapter meetings, events, and community.
  • Other roles, tasks, and responsibilities as requested by the Sr. People Director.

Work Environment:

This position will work a hybrid full-time schedule with 1-2 days/week working from home and 2-3 days/week working from a GAI office. 20-25% travel is expected to other offices, career events, team meetings, etc.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in HR or Employee Relations management, preferably in engineering consulting or professional services environments.
  • 8+ years of experience with Workers Compensation program management, data compilation and analysis, back to work programs, etc.
  • 8+ years of experience developing and updating policies, procedures, gathering support and approvals, and communicating to staff.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (Federal and State) and regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCIP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.

Skills:
  • Advanced skills in HRIS and ATS systems, (preferably UKG Pro), Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Advanced skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Suite software programs (Word, Excel, PPT, Power BI, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
