The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be the frontline expert for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues across the production floor, supporting product quality from early-stage assembly through final test. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve test coverage in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and debug electrical failures in manufactured products throughout the production process, from sub-assembly through functional test
- Perform systematic root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring electrical defects, documenting findings and driving permanent corrective actions
- Develop, implement, and validate electrical test procedures to improve defect detection and reduce escapes
- Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical specifications
- Use test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and functional testers to diagnose failures
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and design teams to identify process improvements and reduce defect rates
- Document all failure analysis findings, test results, and corrective actions in an accurate and timely manner
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing feedback on testability and identifying potential failure modes
- Maintain and calibrate electrical test equipment as required
Qualifications- Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical training; or 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience
- Proven experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts
- Hands-on experience with standard test and measurement equipment
- Demonstrated ability to perform structured root cause analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document findings clearly
- Experience with robotic systems is preferred
Compensation$35 - $45/hr
The above range is the salary range. This position will also receive generous equity for this position.
