Full Job Description
The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will be the frontline expert for diagnosing and resolving electrical issues across the production floor, supporting product quality from early-stage assembly through final test. You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve test coverage in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and debug electrical failures in manufactured products throughout the production process, from sub-assembly through functional test
  • Perform systematic root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring electrical defects, documenting findings and driving permanent corrective actions
  • Develop, implement, and validate electrical test procedures to improve defect detection and reduce escapes
  • Interpret and work from schematics, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and technical specifications
  • Use test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and functional testers to diagnose failures
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and design teams to identify process improvements and reduce defect rates
  • Document all failure analysis findings, test results, and corrective actions in an accurate and timely manner
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing feedback on testability and identifying potential failure modes
  • Maintain and calibrate electrical test equipment as required


Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent technical training; or 5+ years of equivalent hands-on experience
  • Proven experience troubleshooting electrical/electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and PCB layouts
  • Hands-on experience with standard test and measurement equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform structured root cause analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to document findings clearly
  • Experience with robotic systems is preferred


Compensation

$35 - $45/hr

The above range is the salary range. This position will also receive generous equity for this position.
