  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Full Job Description

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems supporting chemical manufacturing operations.
  • Diagnose and repair motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, conveyors, pumps, mixers, and automated production systems.
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency.
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain instrumentation, control devices, and electrical components used in chemical processing operations.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and mechanical drawings to identify and resolve equipment issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), hazardous energy control, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives and root cause corrective actions.

  • Experience troubleshooting PLCs, VFDs, motors, instrumentation, and automated production equipment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems (120V-480V), mechanical systems, and industrial safety practices.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and respond effectively to production equipment breakdowns.
  • 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday) 3:00PM to 11:00PM CST.

Thehourly pay range for this role is $42.97. This range reflects thegood-faith minimum and maximum hourly rate the Company reasonably expects tooffer for this position at the time of posting. This role is classifiedas non-exempt, and employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance withfederal, state, and local laws. In addition to the hourly wage, employees inthis position may be eligible for shift differentials, premium pay, bonuses, orother forms of compensation, depending on role and location. The Company alsooffers a comprehensive benefits package as described above. Actual compensationwill depend on factors such as the candidate's skills, experience, training,certifications, and work location.
