This position reports to:
Electrical Testing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

This role conducts testing and verification activities for assignments of low/medium testing complexity of systems, subsystems, or products effectively and cost-efficiently and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards

The work model for the role is: Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:
• Executes testing according to schedule.
• Performs electro mechanical relays testing activities including secondary injection, hi-pot testing, wiring checks, and other applicable test procedures.
• Prepares project test documentation.
• Provides technical support during installation of test objects in the test area.
• Supports the development and implementation of test procedures for electro-mechanical relays.
• Participates in updating and improving the testing platform and testing tools.
• Ensures that type tests are carried out to meet the contractual obligations.
• Ensures tests/inspections at suppliers' premises are carried out to meet the contractual obligations of systems orders.
• Provides necessary support to other functions during the testing and validation of digital solutions.
• Supports sales team on the requirements of tests during Sales phase.
• Supervises Associate Test Engineers.
• Maintains network of engineering professionals and shares best practice across different projects.

Processes and tools

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Basic understanding of power protection concepts and principles
• Knowledge of power flow and electrical distribution systems
• Ability to create and document test procedures
• Experience with testing platforms and tools
