OverviewWhat You Will Do
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions
- Consultative Selling: Run pre-set, in-home appointments to evaluate a home electrical system.
- Diagnostics & Safety: Identify electrical hazards (e.g., outdated panels, knob-and-tube wiring) and explain safety and functionality benefits clearly to homeowner
- Quoting & Closing: Present clear, tiered pricing options and effectively negotiate and close sales agreements on-site.
- Project Hand-off: Communicate detailed job scopes and materials to the installation and service teams so work can be executed properly.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain accurate documentation of proposals and follow up on pending leads or future project
What We27re Looking For
Technical Knowledge: A background in residential electrical work (often 2+ years as a Journeyman) is usually required or strongly preferred to accurately diagnose issues.
Sales Skills: Proven ability to close high-ticket items, manage objections, and work on a commission-based pay structure.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust with homeowners and explain complex electrical work in layman27s terms.
Licensing: Many states and municipalities require a valid wireman or journeyman license.
Schedule & Compensation
- Monday 26ndash; Friday with evening and weekend rotations
- Earning potential: $100,000 26ndash; $150,000+ per year
- Performance-based compensation structure
