Position Overview

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering electrical projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, strong leadership capabilities, and financial management skills to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise
  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and codes to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical challenges and optimize system performance.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and conduct inspections throughout the project lifecycle.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, including electricians, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Develop project schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet deadlines.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promoting professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear communication and managing expectations.

Financial & Business Acumen
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and profitability.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement corrective actions to maintain budget compliance.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for value engineering and cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
