Full Job Description
We are actively looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our Walnut Creek or Oakland office. As part of the Electrical Group, the Electrical Engineer supports the planning, design and plan production for general electrical engineering on a wide variety of projects which may include lighting, power, and grounding plans, one-line diagrams, panel and cable schedules, and different project specifications.

  • Supports the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates
  • Supports project managers by providing design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to:
    • Medium/low voltage power distribution systems
    • Lighting systems
    • Lightning protection systems
    • Grounding systems
    • Communications systems
    • Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)
    • Selective coordination and arc flash studies
  • Assist with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects
  • Assist with evaluation of project scopes
  • Assist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes

Qualifications:

Base salary range:

$45.00 to $60.00 per hour based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.

Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the California markets.

Physical requirements:

Sedentary for prolonged period of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
