HSE Manager (Site Senior Leadership Environment, Health and Safety)

Location: Milwaukee, WI

As our HSE Manager, you are a cornerstone of our Milwaukee Senior Leadership Team. You will bridge the gap between world-class productivity and industry-leading sustainability, ensuring that our environmental footprint and safety records are as precise as the parts we mold.
Key Responsibilities & Impact

Strategic Leadership & Culture
  • Enliven the Vision: Move beyond compliance to "enliven" a culture of safety, utilizing motivational techniques and coaching to ensure HSE is a core value for all associates.
  • Senior Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure HSE goals are integrated into every capital project and production run.
  • Coaching & Development: Mentor line supervision and plant leadership, transforming them into effective HSE coaches within their own departments.

Operational Excellence
  • Risk Mitigation: Lead site-wide risk assessments and drive "Root Cause" investigations that don't just find a problem-they prevent the next one.
  • Environmental Stewardship: Manage all environmental permits, sample collections, and testing, ensuring our facility remains a leader in community sustainability.
  • Technical Authority: Serve as the subject matter expert on Industrial Hygiene (noise, ergonomics, air quality), Contractor Safety, and Site Security.

Data-Driven Governance
  • Visible KPIs: Maintain and broadcast Key Performance Indicators that drive continuous improvement and transparency.
  • Fiscal Stewardship: Manage the HSE budget with precision, justifying investments that protect our people and our assets.
  • Audit Readiness: Keep the facility in a continuous state of "Audit Ready" compliance with both corporate and governmental (OSHA/EPA) standards.
Your Expertise

Education & Experience
  • The Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • The Track Record: 5+ years of progressive HSE leadership within a high-speed manufacturing environment (Injection Molding or Plastics experience is a significant plus).
  • The Certification: CSP, CIH, or CHMM certifications are highly preferred.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of OSHA regulations, EPA permit compliance, and Workers' Compensation administration.
  • Systems Thinker: Proficient in using data to influence and motivate change.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable goals for shop-floor associates and executive leadership alike.
