The Opportunity We're looking for a sharp, narrative-focused Editorial Lead to lead the Adobe Corporate Blog and shape the voice, standard and quality of all external written materials. This is a role for someone who thinks like a journalist, edits with a steady hand, and understands how editorial rigor builds audience trust and business impact! Prior experience as a reporter or editor at a publication or newsroom is strongly preferred.
What you'll Do - Develop and implement an editorial content strategy that aligns with the corporate narrative, brand goals, and target audiences. Implement a rigorous editorial calendar for the corporate blog while growing thought leadership.
- Set high editorial standards, style guidelines, and a consistent "One Adobe" voice across all written content, including blog posts, press releases, and executive communications.
- Commission, assign, brief, and edit content - from light copy edits to substantive rewrites - ensuring every asset meets Adobe's editorial and reputational bar.
- Apply strong news judgment to identify story angles, executive perspectives, and industry moments that meaningfully advance industry conversation and Adobe's role in crafting what's next.
- Partner with the PR team to edit and elevate announcement narratives into clear, reporter-ready storytelling that holds up to scrutiny.
- Write original articles, thought leadership pieces, and executive bylines when needed, grounded in data, customer stories, and real-world impact.
- Manage full submission and review workflows (blogs, press releases etc), coordinating across collaborators to meet publication timelines.
- Track and report on key performance metrics and use data to continuously raise editorial quality, reach and impact.
What you need to succeed - 10+ years of experience in editorial, journalism, content strategy, or corporate communications roles.
- Exceptional writer and editor with the ability to develop compelling narratives for a range of formats - corporate announcements, thought leadership, success stories, and executive perspectives.
- Deep understanding of SEO and GEO protocols, including structuring content for AI discoverability and answer engine citation.
- Proven ability to manage contributors, editorial workflows, and multiple competing deadlines with precision.
- Self-starter with strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail
- BA/BS degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Expected Pay Range:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,600 -- $254,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
