Role: DWP Engineering Lead
Location: Atlanta, GA
Role Purpose
Provide accountable leadership and delivery for the DWP Engineering Lead function, ensuring reliable execution, effective governance, stakeholder alignment, and continuous improvement across the assigned technology and service scope.
Skill Alignment
Primary Skills: Microsoft 365 configuration, integration leadership, identity and access controls, and upgrades for SFTP, Microsoft Teams, and related tools.
Secondary Skills: Root-cause analysis, change management, access control, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the engineering roadmap and technical delivery for Microsoft 365 and associated Digital Workplace platforms.
• Lead platform configuration, integration design, testing, release readiness, and production implementation.
• Coordinate upgrades for Microsoft Teams, SFTP services, and related workplace tools with minimal disruption.
• Define access-control patterns, privileged-access practices, and platform configuration standards.
• Lead root-cause analysis for major incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Ensure changes comply with approved change-management, security, and compliance controls.
• Partner with architecture, operations, security, service management, and application teams.
• Maintain engineering documentation, operating runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
Required Knowledge and Experience
• 12 to 16 years of relevant professional experience aligned with the role responsibilities and technology scope.
• Demonstrated experience in the primary and secondary skill areas listed above.
• Strong understanding of enterprise service delivery, governance, risk, and change controls.
• Ability to work across geographically distributed teams, customers, and delivery partners.
• Strong communication, documentation, analytical problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
