Dual Director of Front Office to lead all front-office operations for both Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown. What You'll Do - Oversee all front office operations across Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown - including Front Desk, PBX, Bell, and Concierge functions - ensuring seamless, brand-compliant guest service delivery across both Marriott lifestyle hotel brands
- Develop and implement front office department strategies that improve financial performance, guest satisfaction scores, and operational efficiency across this dual-branded downtown Austin hotel operation
- Lead, mentor, and develop the front office leadership team across both properties - providing hands-on coaching, performance evaluations, and associate development that builds a culture of excellence, accountability, and internal promotion
- Ensure full adherence to White Lodging policies and procedures, Marriott brand standards, and guest service requirements across all front office operations at Aloft Austin Downtown and Element Austin Downtown
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Sales, and hotel leadership teams at both properties - driving alignment, communication, and a seamlessly coordinated guest experience from arrival to departure
- Monitor, analyze, and act on guest satisfaction scores and front office performance metrics - implementing strategic corrective actions and service improvements to continuously elevate results across both hotels
- Manage front office labor, scheduling, and payroll in alignment with budget targets and the operational demands of a dual-branded hotel environment in a high-volume downtown Austin market
What You'll Bring - Proven front office leadership experience as a Director of Front Office, Front Office Manager, or senior rooms operations leader - experience in a full-service, lifestyle, or dual-branded hotel environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Marriott brand standards, systems, and front office protocols - prior experience leading front office operations at an Aloft, Element, or comparable Marriott lifestyle brand a significant advantage
- Proficiency in hotel property management systems (PMS) and point-of-sale (POS) platforms - with a strong working knowledge of front office procedures, rate management, and rooms inventory control
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills - with a demonstrated ability to develop and motivate front office teams across multiple operational priorities and two distinct hotel brands simultaneously
- Proven ability to drive guest satisfaction scores, front office performance results, and associate engagement in a fast-paced, high-volume downtown hotel environment
- Experience managing front office budgets, labor costs, and scheduling across a complex hotel operation - dual-branded or multi-property experience a strong plus
