  • Hiring Manager: Diana Roberts
  • Location: Morristown, NJ

About the Job

The Director of U.S. Corporate Social Responsibility Strategic Programs is a public-facing leadership role that combines national program oversight with regional community development to advance Sanofi's commitment to Sustainable & Equitable Access to Healthcare. This position serves as a bridge between corporate strategy and community impact, driving measurable results that align with business objectives while delivering authentic value to underserved communities. Operating at both national and regional levels, the Director leads Sanofi's highly visible signature commitment to Community Health Workers (CHW) to build workforce capacity and sustainability, recognizing CHWs as essential partners in expanding healthcare access to under-supported populations. The role centers on key initiatives including vaccine education, One Resp., reimbursement, and the cross-sector Health in Action Collaborative, working across internal teams and external partnerships to create integrated, data-driven solutions.

Regionally, the Director shapes Sanofi's community presence in New Jersey, particularly Morris County, home to our Morristown headquarters, developing authentic partnerships that reflect core CSR priorities while addressing critical community needs, and positioning Sanofi as an authentic and committed leader in the communities it serves.

In addition, the Director will work on special projects embedding our social impact work throughout the business, as well as measurement of CSR programs. This role reports to the Head, U.S. Corporate Social Responsibility and President, Sanofi Cares N.A., and interacts with senior leaders including the Sanofi's U.S. Country Council.

The Importance of Measurable KPIs

Success in this role is defined by demonstrable impact. The Director establishes and tracks clear, measurable KPIs across all dimensions-program reach, community health outcomes, workforce development metrics, stakeholder engagement, community partnership growth, and business value creation. These metrics ensure accountability, enable continuous improvement, and provide the data necessary to communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders. Through rigorous measurement and reporting, the Director transforms community engagement from good intentions into quantifiable business value.

Join the team transforming care for people with immune challenges, rare diseases, cancers, and neurological conditions. In Specialty Care, you'll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategy, program development, execution, and measurement of Sanofi's signature U.S. commitment to building Community Health Worker (CHW) workforce capacity and sustainability

  • Position Sanofi as an authentic community leader through strategic partnerships that deliver quantifiable value to both the community and business objectives
  • Collaborate daily with business leaders, State Government Relations, People & Culture, and Communications teams to ensure alignment and shared accountability for measurable outcomes, and key avenues for storytelling
  • Represent U.S. CSR on external leadership panels and discussions
  • Serve as strategic liaison between U.S. Health Equity team and CSR, providing data-driven insights and ensuring accurate, comprehensive reporting of community impact
  • Proactive self-starter who can work independently and in a team environment, comfortable collaborating across all departments and function levels
