Job DescriptionThe Co-Brand Business Development team is a critical part of Visa's North America Co-Brand organization within the Enablers, Merchants and Fintechs (EMF) team.

The team works across Visa to bring the best of our expertise, products and assets to clients, delivering well-qualified wins that drive revenue growth while strengthening trust, engagement and satisfaction among teammates, partners and clients.
The Director, U.S. Co-Brand Business Development, NA is responsible for developing and executing the co-brand and broader partnership development strategy for a key industry vertical. This role requires leadership, commercial judgment and creativity to shape the vertical strategy, expand adoption of Visa products and solutions, and lead the commercialization of Visa's business development objectives.
This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of North America Co-Brand Business Development. The Director will collaborate with executive leaders across Visa, including EMF sales leaders, issuer account leaders, marketing, technology, customer support and product teams. Externally, this role will engage with senior executives at merchants, issuers and consultants.
Key Responsibilities- Lead business development for high-priority co-brand opportunities in North America, including renewals, net-new opportunities and competitive takeaways.
- Lead opportunities across all Co-Brand products including credit, debit, consumer and SMB
- Develop and manage the U.S. co-brand sales pipeline across multiple industry verticals, including prospect prioritization, sales strategy, deal planning and cross-functional execution.
- Drive prospecting, pitch, RFI and proposal development; lead external discussions and negotiations with clients to secure new business.
- Build Visa's value story by orchestrating input from internal stakeholders and securing alignment across sales, issuer, product, marketing, finance and legal teams.
- Lead strategic initiatives that define Visa's long-term co-brand approach and demonstrate thought leadership to partners.
- Serve as an internal and external thought leader, communicating Visa's co-brand and partnership vision, strategy and perspective in a rapidly evolving industry.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Business development and partnerships experience - Proven ability to drive client growth and win new business by aligning solutions to client priorities. Experience managing a pipeline, structuring deals, negotiating business agreements and delivering commercial results.
• Co-brand and payments acumen - Strong understanding of co-brand credit, issuer and merchant economics, portfolio dynamics and the broader payments ecosystem.
• Collaboration and relationship building - Demonstrated experience building and leveraging strong relationships within Visa and client organizations at multiple levels.
• Exceptional leadership - Strong executive presence and experience leading cross-functional teams to promote a shared vision and deliver as one team. Inclusive leader invested in developing and growing talent.

• Fluency in co-brand business development and/or program management best practices, including implications for issuers, networks and merchants.
• Experience with RFP/RFI responses, proposal development, deal modeling and executive-level storytelling.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English.
Information for US ApplicantsFor roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $178,300.00 to $ 285,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
