Key Responsibilities (What You Are Doing)
  • Partner with senior leadership to shape and execute a creator talent strategy aligned with Hearst's brands, audiences, editorial priorities, and commercial objectives.
  • Build and manage a scalable creator acquisition pipeline, establishing talent profiles, evaluation criteria, vetting standards, outreach strategies, and pathways for developing high-potential relationships.
  • Oversee talent strategy and execution for creator-led editorial and video franchises, partnering closely with editorial teams and production partners from concept development through activation.
  • Own the end-to-end creator partnership lifecycle, including outreach, deal structuring, negotiation, onboarding, activation, relationship management, renewals, and long-term partnership growth.
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with creators, agents, managers, and other talent representatives while expanding Hearst's creator network.
  • Serve as a senior liaison across editorial, commercial, production, and talent teams, translating editorial concepts and advertiser objectives into effective talent strategies.
  • Partner with commercial and revenue operations teams to position creator capabilities, audience strengths, and content formats as compelling client-facing opportunities.
  • Develop and test emerging creator-led commerce and performance partnership models while establishing scalable partnership standards and overseeing contracting workflows with Legal.
  • Lead and develop a team responsible for talent coordination, creator communications, partnership operations, and relationship management.
  • Maintain visibility into the creator pipeline, active negotiations, partnership performance, and future opportunities to inform strategic planning and resource allocation.


Qualifications (What We're Looking For)
  • 8+ years of experience in talent partnerships, talent management, creator partnerships, influencer marketing, branded content, entertainment, media, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing talent and negotiating complex creator, influencer, or entertainment agreements, including deliverables, usage rights, exclusivity, and commercial terms.
  • Strong relationships across the creator, talent management, agency, and representation ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of the creator economy, digital talent landscape, and social media platforms.
  • Experience translating creator capabilities into compelling editorial, audience, and commercial opportunities.
  • Proven ability to build scalable partnership frameworks, operational processes, and negotiation standards.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving editorial, sales, production, legal, and revenue teams.
  • Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while exercising discretion with confidential business plans, talent relationships, and negotiations.
  • This position is based in New York City and requires working in the office 4 days per week.

The base salary range for this role is $100,000-$175,000. This position is not eligible for bonus or commission compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
