What You Will DoResponsible for leading the enterprise systems that define workforce capability requirements, guide talent decisions. Measure workforce effectiveness while overseeing workforce architecture, leadership effectiveness, performance management, and employee experience to ensure alignment with business priorities and future workforce needs. Operating within the broader Strategic Workforce Development system, this role leads the "define and govern" components by establishing structures, processes, and governance mechanisms that connect workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, and talent development into a coordinated system. As the Director of Talent Management, you translate business strategy into talent management initiatives, identify workforce risks and gaps, and ensure integrated workforce systems.
- In this role, provide governance of job architecture, skills frameworks, career pathways, and organizational design while ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
- You will lead succession planning, leadership reviews, pipeline strategies, and align development investments with organizational needs.
- Oversee performance management and employee experience programs, monitor workforce insights, and drive improvement actions.
- Establish governance frameworks, define success measures, and integrate talent activities with workforce planning and business priorities.
- You will serve as a strategic advisor to leaders, influence workforce decisions, and guide organizational change initiatives.
What You Bring To Freeport- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or related field and
- Ten (10) years of progressive experience in talent management, workforce planning, organization development, leadership development, HR strategy, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading enterprise talent management or workforce capability initiatives.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on organizational and workforce strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to establish governance processes, operating models, and decision frameworks across enterprise functions.
- Experience leading teams responsible for talent programs, workforce systems, or organizational effectiveness initiatives.
- Strong understanding of workforce architecture, skills frameworks, career pathways, and organization design.
- Knowledge of succession planning, leadership assessment, and leadership development practices.
- Understanding performance management and employee experience methodologies.
- Ability to align workforce capability strategies with business priorities.
- Strong consulting, facilitation, and organizational influence skills.
- Ability to work effectively with executives and senior business leaders
- Experience establishing governance processes and decision frameworks.
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business, I/O Psychology, or related field.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Prosci, Change Management, or Talent Management certifications.
- Experience leading talent management functions in a large, geographically dispersed organization.
- Experience supporting workforce planning within heavy industry, manufacturing, mining, energy, or similar environments.
- Experience implementing enterprise talent management technology platforms.
- Experience leading global or multi-business-unit talent strategies.
What We Offer You Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation considerations based on company and individual performance. Additionally, this position is currently eligible for annual long-term incentive consideration.
