Full Job Description
The Director of Surgical Services leads and oversees the strategic and operational functions of Tampa General Hospital's ambulatory surgical centers, including those operated in joint ventures with physicians and other partners. This role encompasses the leadership of surgical teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective resource management. The Director will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize surgical services, enhance patient safety, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Red Cross (ARC) oAdvanced Life Support (ACLS)
ACLS
American Heart Association (AHA)Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
NIH (APEX)
Experience: Five years' clinical experience in Surgical Services, Three years of experience in leadership
