Full Job Description
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Supply Chain Director is responsible for designing and implementing supply chain strategies and capabilities based on business plans and objectives, new product introduction or business opportunities. Coordinates supply, manufacturing and delivery systems to ensure the optimization of customer service, low inventories, low cost, superior quality, reduced cycle times and order delivery. Lead and manage the team responsible for analysis of supply chain data. Drive data insight to support process improvements and cost reductions. Provide analytical expertise and excellence to the supply chain organization.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Design, document, and implement business processes related to supply chain analysis and decision support
  • Support the development of budgets, long-range, and strategic plan business models by providing data to understand operational drivers.
  • Develops goals and objectives aligned with the strategy, manages execution of initiatives and delivers value to the organization.
  • Works in cross-functional teams and with different end-users to meet internal and external stakeholder needs.
  • Ensures that budgets and schedules are within company requirements with significant organizational responsibility for the overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priority management, and recommendation and implementation changes of current methods.
  • Leads operational efforts through subordinates to complete the administration of business processes and services to ensure the operations' effective achievement of goals within the assigned business unit(s).
  • Acts as a mentor to Supply Chain Sr Managers and Associate Directors.
  • Utilizes techniques in alignment with the company mission and core values as a means to implement positive change.
  • Collaborates with employees in the establishment of clear and concise development plans to ensure succession planning and the advancement of future leaders within the organization.
  • Provide strategic leadership of short- and long-term goals through the use of thoughtful techniques in the communication of the company's mission and core values as a means to implement positive change and/or create organizational structure within the assigned business unit(s).
  • Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist with various projects as assigned by direct supervisor.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.


EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum 12+ years related experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience at a manager or above level.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage one or more departments.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Strong management skills with the ability to lead cohesive and productive teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.

The rate of pay for this position will depend on the successful candidate's work location and qualifications, including relevant education, work experience, skills, and competencies.
