The Opportunity

The Director of Strategy & Operations, Global Talent Acquisition, will serve as a strategic partner and force multiplier to the VP of Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) and the GTA Leadership Team, helping shape organizational strategy, anticipate and work through emerging business challenges, drive transformational initiatives, and ensure execution against the highest-impact priorities. As GTA continues its multi-year transformation, this leader will support the strategy development and translate strategy into action - accelerating decisions, aligning resources, working through tradeoffs, and driving high-impact initiatives across a complex, fast-moving organization.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational rigor, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at building relationships and influencing outcomes across diverse partner groups without direct authority.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the VP of GTA, and will shape long-term vision, organizational priorities, and business strategies.


  • Anticipate emerging needs, surface risks and opportunities, and drive proactive decision-making across the leadership team.


  • Lead annual and multi-year strategy planning processes, translating business objectives into measurable outcomes and actionable plans.


  • Drive resource prioritization to ensure talent, budget, and capacity align with the organization's highest-impact priorities.


  • Evolve the leadership teams' operating cadence and governance framework to increase effectiveness, accelerate decisions, and amplify leadership impact.


  • Establish and lead executive business reviews, strategy planning sessions, and operating mechanisms that create visibility and accountability.


  • Drive cross-functional initiatives across EX, Finance, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, and Communications.


  • Develop executive-level insights using data, market trends, and business intelligence to inform decisions.


  • Establish success metrics and performance frameworks that enable the team to evaluate progress and optimize performance.


  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.


What You Need to Succeed

  • 10+ years of experience in strategic operational roles, partnering directly with senior leaders, with prior experience in Talent Acquisition preferred
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and lead change management initiatives
  • Strong program management skills across complex, matrixed operations
  • Analytical approach - able to break down large problems, derive insights from data, and translate them into action


  • BA/BS or equivalent experience in a related field


  • Comfort with ambiguity and strong attention to operational detail


  • Excellent meeting design and facilitation skills


Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $151,800 -- $298,150 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

In California, the pay range for this position is $205,900 - $298,150

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
