Full Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Role:

The Director, Strategic Silicon Partnerships is responsible for expanding and deepening CoolIT's strategic relationships with leading silicon providers including CPU, GPU, and AI accelerator vendors. This role aligns CoolIT's liquid cooling technology roadmap with next-generation silicon platforms to secure early design influence, drive platform design-wins, shape industry ecosystems, and accelerate long-term revenue growth. It operates at the intersection of strategy, technology, and commercial execution, working cross-functionally with engineering, product management, sales, and marketing while serving as CoolIT's primary executive and technical interface to silicon partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage executive-level and working-team relationships across top silicon companies including CPU, GPU, and AI accelerator vendors
  • Engage early in silicon platform definition cycles to influence power, thermal, and mechanical requirements in favor of advanced liquid cooling, positioning CoolIT as a strategic technology partner rather than a component supplier
  • Drive adoption of CoolIT liquid cooling solutions aligned to silicon partner product launches, ensuring CoolIT is specified as the preferred or exclusive liquid cooling partner on targeted OEM and ODM server platforms
  • Collaborate closely with sales teams to support platform-level pursuits
  • Translate silicon power, thermal, and roadmap trends into actionable product requirements for CoolIT's engineering and product teams
  • Initiate and manage early co-development, proof-of-concept, and joint validation programs with silicon partners, serving as the connective tissue between partner architects and CoolIT engineering leadership
  • Develop joint marketing, thought-leadership, and ecosystem initiatives with silicon partners, aligned to partner launch milestones, industry events, and platform announcements
  • Support OEM and ODM design-in activities through coordinated partner influence
  • Monitor silicon roadmaps, competitive cooling approaches, and emerging platform architectures, identifying new opportunities where advanced liquid cooling becomes a platform-level necessity
  • Provide strategic insights to CoolIT leadership on ecosystem shifts and future thermal requirements

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 10+ years in strategic partnerships, business development, or platform architecture within the semiconductor, data center, or advanced infrastructure industry
  • Proven track record of driving platform-level design influence and long-cycle strategic partnerships

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with or within silicon vendors in platform architecture, partner engineering, or hyperscale ecosystem roles
  • Background in data center infrastructure, HPC, AI systems, or advanced thermal solutions

Skills:
  • Executive-level communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to negotiate and influence within complex, multi-party ecosystems
  • Strong relationship builder across technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of server hardware architectures, power density trends, and thermal engineering
  • Comfortable translating deep technical concepts into business and product strategy
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder, cross-company programs with clear documentation and partner updates

This position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

We are a company that is full of vibrant, innovative people who love what we do. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
