This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship, now or in the future.The Director, Strategic Partnerships supports Spectrum Reach's Strategic Partnerships organization, responsible for developing and executing partnerships that expand our advertising capabilities, unlock new revenue, and advance Charter's broader business objectives. Reporting to the Group Vice President of Strategic Partnerships, this person operates as a strategic and operating partner across inventory acquisition, programmer and platform partnerships, marketplace development, sports and premium content, and emerging monetization models. Represents the Strategic Partnerships organization internally, with external partners, and industry stakeholders.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop opportunities, manage senior partner relationships, support complex negotiations, and drive cross-functional execution across Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Technology, and other enterprise stakeholders.
- Translate the Strategic Partnerships organization's priorities into operating plans, workstreams, and measurable outcomes, in partnership with the GVP.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand access to premium inventory, distribution, platform capabilities, and new demand sources across linear, addressable, CTV, FAST, streaming, and digital video.
- Lead and support commercial negotiations covering inventory rights, revenue share, pricing, guarantees, technology integration, data access, measurement, and go-to-market terms.
- Advance strategies to acquire and monetize third-party inventory through programmers, distributors, DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, and other buying platforms.
- Develop business cases, financial analyses, partnership structures, and executive recommendations to support key decisions.
- Drive partnerships from evaluation through negotiation, contracting, implementation, launch, and ongoing performance management.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Technology, Finance, Legal, Programming, Data, Marketing, and Corporate Strategy.
- Establish project plans, roles, decision points, milestones, and success metrics for priority partnerships.
- Identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions to improve revenue, scale, and operational efficiency.
- Help build the processes, reporting, and operating discipline needed to scale the Strategic Partnerships organization.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Perform other duties and projects as required
QUALIFICATIONS - Strong knowledge of the television and digital advertising ecosystem, including linear, addressable, CTV, FAST, streaming, programmatic, DSPs, SSPs, and marketplace models.
- Demonstrated experience developing, negotiating, and executing complex commercial partnerships.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including business case development, deal economics, and revenue model structuring.
- Ability to translate strategic opportunities into actionable operating plans and measurable results.
- Excellent communication, judgment, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to create structure, navigate ambiguity, and manage multiple high-priority initiatives.
- Experience in media, advertising, ad technology, business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, or a related field
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with programmers, distributors, streaming platforms, technology companies, sports properties, or digital advertising marketplaces.
- Established relationships across the media, advertising, and ad-tech ecosystem.
- Experience with inventory acquisition, content monetization, platform distribution, or third-party sales partnerships.
- Experience mentoring or managing team members.

The base pay for this position generally is between
$135,300.00 and $195,000.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
