Overview

The Director, Sales owns sales execution across assigned venues by implementing OVG Premium's standard sales and service playbooks in collaboration with venue sales & service leads. Improve sales performance for assigned venues by coaching local teams, reinforcing the importance of the OVG sales process to help venues become more self-sufficient in premium sales execution.

This role pays an annual salary of $151,400 - $196,800 and is commission eligible.

Responsibilities
  • Own sales planning, strategy, and execution across assigned venues/region.
  • Implement standard OVG Premium sales, service & management playbooks with local Directors.
  • Support local sales teams with outreach strategy, storytelling, qualifying, and closing.
  • Coach local teams on sales and service techniques, follow-up standards, product positioning, and use of CRM / Outreach in collaboration with Manager, Systems Success.
  • Work with Manager, Systems Success to ensure local teams are adopting systems and data standards.
  • Partner with Manager, Revenue Marketing to support the sales playbook with marketing campaigns.
  • Identify execution gaps, staffing needs, training opportunities, and venue-specific roadblocks.
  • Help local teams become more self-sufficient by teaching standard best practices rather than simply doing the work for them.
  • Share regional learnings, success stories, and best practices with Sales Performance leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships not just internally but also with assigned venues/region.
  • Execute and report on performance to premium revenue goals at each assigned venue within the region.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Revenue Marketing and Revenue Systems & Data to support venue revenue goals.

Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of successful sales experience, preferably in premium seating, sports, entertainment, hospitality, venue, or business-to-business (B2B) sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Master's preferred.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas, revenue goals, and key performance metrics.
  • Experience utilizing CRM platforms (such as Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales technology tools to manage pipelines, maintain accurate records, and produce performance reports.
  • Previous experience in managing partner success and relationships in a collaborative environment.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, executives, and internal stakeholders.
