Full Job Description

Tarian is seeking a Director of Regional Sales to lead business development and revenue growth across an assigned region. This role is responsible for identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strategic client relationships, and partnering with operational leaders to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, consultative sales leader who understands how to build a pipeline, develop relationships at the executive level, and turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Director of Regional Sales Responsibilities:

As Director of Regional Sales for Tarian, you will conduct the following responsibilities upholding Tarian’s commitment to safety and security while supporting the values and culture of the client and community.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with Tarian's growth objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Conduct consultative conversations to understand client challenges and recommend appropriate security and protective service solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Partner closely with Operations and other internal teams to ensure solutions are aligned with client expectations and can be successfully implemented.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and regional opportunities to identify areas for growth.
  • Represent Tarian at industry events, networking opportunities, and community/business functions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting information.
  • Support account growth and expansion opportunities within existing client relationships.
Qualifications

  • Experience selling security, protective services, healthcare services, facilities services, staffing, or another consultative B2B solution is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue goals.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIROMENT

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced.  All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
