What You'll Do

Leadership of the Pricing Specialist Team

  • Set clear expectations, service levels, and quality standards for quote and RFP turnaround, balancing responsiveness with pricing rigor.
  • Manage team workload, prioritization, and capacity against fluctuating commercial demand; build depth and cross-coverage.
  • Build individual development plans and grow the team's analytical, commercial, and stakeholder-management capabilities.

Strategic Partnership & Pricing Transformation
  • Partner with the Vice President, Pricing to shape pricing strategy, segmentation, and the multi-year transformation agenda.
  • Translate strategic direction into a sequenced, executable roadmap with clear owners, milestones, and measures of success.
  • Bring an informed point of view to the leadership table - challenge assumptions, surface trade-offs, and recommend a path forward.

Pricing Governance & Process Discipline

  • Design and implement practical, repeatable pricing processes that raise rigor without adding friction, bureaucracy, or cycle time.
  • Establish and maintain pricing standards, approval thresholds, delegation of authority, and escalation paths.
  • Drive adoption through clear communication, training, and follow-through with the commercial team.

Margin & Commercial Performance
  • Drive pricing actions that optimize price and margin across products, customers, and segments in partnership with commercial leaders.
  • Monitor vendor price changes and commodity cost movement; lead timely, well-supported price adjustments to protect margin.
