Full Job Description
Position Title: Director of Supply Chain & Value Engineering

Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000 / Year, DOE + Annual Bonus

This is a rare opportunity to build the function instead of inheriting someone else's playbook. A rapidly growing global gaming technology company is seeking a Director of Supply Chain & Value Engineering to transform its hardware operations from a prototype-driven engineering environment into a scalable, disciplined manufacturing and supply chain organization. This person will own value engineering, supplier strategy, contract manufacturing, NPI, cost optimization, and hardware quality while working closely with engineering teams and manufacturing partners across the U.S., Australia, and Asia. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical operator and builder who understands electronics and PCB manufacturing, knows how to manage contract manufacturers and suppliers, and is energized by creating structure where it does not yet exist. This is not a role for someone who wants to lead from a distance - the right person will dig into the details, challenge costs, solve manufacturing problems and build the processes and partnerships required to scale.

Responsibilities
  • Build and execute the company's global supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing governance and value engineering strategy
  • Manage third-party contract manufacturers and develop strong supplier relationships across domestic and international markets
  • Lead value engineering and Design for Manufacturability initiatives to reduce BOM costs, improve product consistency and strengthen hardware quality
  • Oversee the transition of new hardware products from prototype through NPI and scalable production
  • Evaluate manufacturing costs, sourcing alternatives, supply agreements, and supplier performance while building greater competition and resiliency into the supply base
  • Review PCB and electronic designs from a manufacturing perspective and establish stronger engineering, production, and quality standards
  • Expand and strengthen the company's global manufacturing ecosystem while improving component forecasting, SKU standardization and supplier accountability

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience across hardware engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain engineering, value engineering or operations engineering
  • Strong electronics and PCB manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of how hardware moves from development into commercial production
  • Proven experience managing contract manufacturers, vendors and complex supplier relationships
  • Hands-on experience with NPI, product commercialization, BOM cost reduction, and manufacturing optimization
  • Ability to create processes from scratch, operate effectively through ambiguity, and personally drive execution without relying on a large existing team
  • Experience working directly with international suppliers and willingness to travel internationally as business needs require
  • Background in electronics, industrial automation, medical devices, payments hardware, aerospace, defense, OEM/ODM manufacturing, or gaming hardware strongly aligned with the role

Benefits
  • Annual performance bonus targeted at approximately 10% with upside based on company performance
  • Employer-paid individual medical coverage with dental and vision coverage available
  • Employer HSA contribution, Employer-paid basic life, AD&D and long-term disability coverage
  • 401(k) contribution
  • 23 days of annual PTO
  • International travel support including corporate travel cards and premium economy accommodations for international travel

If you know how to turn great hardware engineering into a scalable manufacturing operation and want the ownership to build the systems, supplier network, and team behind it, apply today!
