JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the overall performance, strategy, and execution of USA Industries' end-to-end supply chain, including planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics. This role is accountable for ensuring high service levels, optimized inventory, and efficient flow of materials to support customer demand and company growth.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, this position will lead cross-functional alignment across sales, operations, and purchasing to develop and execute effective supply planning processes. The Director will establish scalable systems, drive continuous improvement, and build team capability to support a growing, multi-site manufacturing environment.

This role plays a critical part in improving working capital, enhancing supplier performance, and strengthening operational discipline across the organization.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and execution of supply planning processes, including demand alignment, master production scheduling, and capacity planning.
  • Establish scalable systems and processes to support operational efficiency and future growth.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks through proactive planning and cross-functional coordination.
  • Own inventory performance, including turns, accuracy, and reduction of excess and obsolete stock.
  • Lead execution and performance of supply plans to meet customer demand and service level targets.
  • Implement and maintain standardized inventory control processes, including cycle counting and FIFO discipline.
  • Oversee material flow across all facilities, ensuring alignment between production, warehousing, and shipping.
  • Develop and manage supplier strategies to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance.
  • Strengthen vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms where applicable.
  • Establish supplier performance metrics and accountability standards.
  • Oversee warehouse and logistics operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely movement of goods.
  • Optimize transportation strategies and freight spending through effective carrier management.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Drive ERP/MRP system utilization and improvements to increase visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making.
  • Develop and implement KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to monitor supply chain performance.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the supply chain team, building strong capabilities and accountability.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and metrics across the team.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations, sales, and finance to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with leadership regarding risks, performance, and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide leadership visibility and supply chain insights in meetings with clear visibility into supply chain status and priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.
  • ASCM/APICS CPIM or CSCP - preferred


Work Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inventory management, production planning, procurement, and logistics
  • Experience in a multi-site or growing manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.

Physical Requirements
