Summary: The Director of Security is responsible for the overall Safety, Security and Risk-related operational items for the entire property. This includes the management and administration of all programs that support a safe work environment, minimize liability, increase overall cost effectiveness and support the hotel's service standards.

Duties include but are not limited to:- Establish and implement departmental policies and procedures in accordance with property/corporate security and loss control requirements to ensure security personnel provide maximum guest, employee and property safety and security at all times.
- Coordinate and promote acceptance of and compliance with loss prevention programs.
- Manage and coordinate the development and implementation of the security and operational risk management program.
- Research and recommend new and updated trends in loss control and prevention.
- Identify areas of non-compliance in the business operation; recommend corrective action to remedy deficiencies.
- Coordinate and manage effectively the hotel's Safety Management Systems.
- Effectively lead the Security team.
Qualifications:- Prior leadership experience in Security/Loss Prevention operations..
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle all risk-related issues with tact and privacy.
