Description Position Summary: The Nurse Director is responsible for managing clinical and home care operations and resources for Life Care At Home; managing and directing Nurses, Resident Assistants and Home Service Workers to provide exceptional service to clients and their families; developing and implementing plans to improve financial performance of the organization; and acting as the main point of contact for the organization.
Pay range: $90k - $105 annual salary based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Ensure that quality services are delivered to clients in accordance with care plans
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations and act as direct contact with regulatory authorities
- Responsible for managing service contracts and ensuring that supervisory visits are completed timely
- Manage performance of staff, providing regular feedback, and administering corrective action when necessary
- Be visible to the client/family base; monitor and verify quality initiatives and continuous quality improvement
- Educate, train, and develop all staff
- Participate in the annual budgeting process
- Operate the organization within the budgetary plan
- Help to establish pricing structures to cover costs and provide adequate cash flow
- Promote fiscal responsibilities and safeguarding the assets of the organization
- Provides training and education programs for staff development
- Compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
- Complete annual performance reviews for all staff
- Coordinate with Human Resources to hire, retain, or discipline staff
- Provide consistent and fair application of policies and procedures
- Evaluate safety and risk to employees in the provision of service
- Oversee and approve payroll

Position Requirements Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Required:
- Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in State of Illinois
- Associate's Degree in a related area or equivalent work experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing Home Care Services with senior clients
- Demonstrated experience in managing staff in remote service settings
- May require the employee to drive on company business. Employee must have a valid driver's license and meet organization's driving requirements.
- Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn company systems, including payroll system
- Ability to work night and weekend hours as well as to be on call
Preferred:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in related field
- Familiarity with Home Health Care regulatory requirements
- Experience in non-profit or mission focused organizations
