Director of Marketing

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Director of Marketing to lead Cossette's brand marketing engine. This is a senior, high-impact role responsible for how Cossette shows up in the market from brand positioning and integrated campaigns to events, paid media, and digital presence. You'll be the steward of our reputation, the architect of our narrative, and the driver of pipeline influence among enterprise clients and senior marketers.

Transparency matters to us. For this role, you can expect a salary between $110,000-130,000 annually, depending on experience. This is for an existing vacancy.

What You'll Do
  • Set the direction for Cossette's brand: how we show up, what we say, and how consistently we say it across every touchpoint.
  • Shape Cossette's positioning and turn it into messaging that makes enterprise clients choose us over everyone else.
  • Lead integrated campaigns that build perception over time: quarterly moments, major launches, and high-stakes initiatives that keep Cossette front of mind.
  • Build Cossette's presence in Toronto and Vancouver through events that matter: industry conferences, owned experiences, and sponsorships that put us in the right rooms with the right people.
  • Work closely with the paid media team to make sure every dollar spent reinforces who we are and attracts the buyers we want.
  • Treat the Cossette website as a living brand asset, not a static brochure. Keep the messaging sharp, the structure clear, and the performance improving.
  • Identify and build partnerships that extend Cossette's reach and borrow credibility from brands and platforms our audience already trusts.
  • Stay tightly connected to the PR and Content Marketing team so our storytelling, thought leadership, and campaigns are pulling in the same direction.
  • Mine the agency for the stories, proof points, and ideas worth amplifying. Work closely with Account, Creative, Technology, Business Development, and Strategy to find them.
  • Track what's working. Measure brand performance, campaign impact, and pipeline influence, then use what you find to keep getting sharper.

What You Bring
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a proven track record in strategic brand building, integrated campaigns, and demand generation within an agency.
  • Deep expertise in brand strategy and positioning, with a strong ability to translate complex narratives into compelling, market-facing messaging.
  • Experience owning and managing events programs across multiple markets.
  • Fluency in paid media strategy and performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience owning a website as a brand and conversion asset.
  • Strong data literacy - you know how to measure what matters and use insights to drive decisions.
  • Exceptional collaborator and communicator who can work effectively across creative, strategy, and commercial teams.
  • A sharp eye for creative quality and brand consistency.
  • Experience in a Canadian agency is a must.
