Overview

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) seeks a Director of Enterprise Cloud Technology and SecurityThe Director of Enterprise Cloud Technology & Security provides leadership and management of information services technical operations, including all FBM Infrastructure technology, POS systems, desktop and mobile solutions, network infrastructure, and development for Foundation Building Materials. This position is responsible for information service management and control, including supervision of employees' and contractors' technology reviews and recommendations and vendor services management for the area of responsibility as appropriate. The Director provides budget preparation and administration, recommendations for technology acquisitions, and developing guidelines, standards, and procedures. The Director plans and implements technologies, tactical actions, and operational decision-making. This position will also be a cybersecurity and compliance expert reporting to the VP of Advanced Technology or IT. This role will work directly with the other IT leader to support various enterprise technology and information security duties. They will also serve as a point of contact for IT compliance and audit requirements.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Job duties: (1) Evaluate computer network architecture for database centers and Cloud; (2) Direct development and execution of an enterprise-wide information security plan that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's data and servers; (3) Ensure company technical problems are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner; (4) Manage and/or implement telecom, AV, CCTV, and networking (hardware and software); (5) Cloud computing (Azure and GCP); (6) Network and Security (Palo Alto and Cisco); (7) Systems development, office networks, computers, and telecommunications; (8) Manage Enterprise technology for applications like SAP, DB, Warehouse, POS etc; (9) AI Technology Implementation and Management in Cloud; (10) Provide executive oversight and management of IT program/project-related governance processes, methodologies, procedures, tools, and templates to ensure optimal IT project execution; (11) Manage time, people, and costs, avoiding unnecessary waste - use resources economically, challenging Teams to find better ways to do things; (12) Define and communicate company values and standards for acquiring or developing systems and equipment within the company. May travel up to 25% to unanticipated domestic locations. Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Electronic Engineering or related field.

Required 3 years of experience in job offered or as Manager, IT Infrastructure Platform or Technology Architect or any combination thereof.

Must have at least one professional certification in either: SAP Certified Technology Associate -SAP HANA 1.0; SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (Oracle DB) with SAP NetWeaver 7.0; or Microsoft Certification Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

Required 3 years' experience (can be gained concurrently with experience outline above) must include the following:
  • Cloud Technologies, SAP, Databases, IT Infrastructure, Networking and Cybersecurity
  • Comprehensive IT experience across multiple domains, include IT infrastructure, application platform management (SAP ERP), cloud migration, networking and cybersecurity.
  • Proven track record in technical leadership, strategic direction, team management, solution implementation, and project management for IT infrastructure and cloud transformation initiatives.
  • IT infrastructure architecture for acquisitions and carve-out companies.

Must have working knowledge in the following:
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Microsoft Azure
