Responsibilities and QualificationsPosition OverviewAt Foundation Building Materials (FBM), IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex cross-functional projects on time and within budget. This role defines scope and objectives, coordinates internal teams and third-party partners, maintains high quality standards, and provides clear, executive-ready communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan & Deliver- Own end-to-end delivery of complex, large, and/or cross-functional projects, including scope, schedule, budget, risks, and issues.
- Define scope, resourcing plans, budgets, and deliverables with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain core project artifacts, including integrated project plans, RAID logs, requirements matrices, meeting agendas/notes, and status dashboards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks; manage scope changes with impact analysis and contingency plans.
- Lead multiple projects concurrently; coordinate steering committees and drive governance.
Stakeholders, Vendors & Communication- Coordinate across product, engineering, operations, finance, legal, and other functions to keep work aligned and unblock teams.
- Manage vendors/partners and related contracts; review team deliverables for quality.
- Provide clear, consistent status updates tailored for teams and executives; escalate decisively when needed.
- Lead RFPs/proposals when applicable.
Continuous Improvement & Values- Contribute to PMO standards and continuous improvement.

Financials & Measurement- Track team hours, costs, and budget versus forecast; manage to target.
- Define and monitor project KPIs to ensure outcomes meet objectives.
- Conduct post-mortems and publish recommendations to improve processes.
Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous- Perform other duties as assigned to support IT and corporate objectives.
Qualifications- Typically 7 to 10 years of experience managing cross-functional technology or business projects, or equivalent experience.
- Expert understanding of project management standards and methods, including predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches.
- Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects to completion in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time management skills; resilient under change.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence and the ability to engage senior leadership.
- Financial and vendor management experience with rigorous risk and issue management.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, consultants, and vendors.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, MS Project/Smartsheet, Power BI, or online project management tools preferred.
- ERP implementation experience a plus, with a focus on integrating multiple platforms.
- Enterprise-level experience in a publicly traded company and recent SOX environment experience a plus.

CompensationThe listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within the United States. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
- Base: $90,000 - $125,000 per year
- Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
- Commission Eligibility: No
- Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $95,000 - $155,000.
- Equity: This role is not eligible for equity opportunities, awards or grants
