Full Job Description
About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Consumer Insights and Marketing Science to own the measurement strategy and analytical rigor that powers marketing decisions across email, SMS, website, organic content, and paid media.

This role is the measurement backbone behind Lola's growth - turning raw channel data into the frameworks, forecasts, and recommendations that shape strategy at the leadership level. Our tools and data foundation are already in place. What we need is a strategic analytical leader who can set the standard for how the business measures itself, advise leadership directly on where to invest, and build the reporting infrastructure and team rigor to scale with the brand.

Core Responsibilities

Measurement Strategy & Executive Advisory
  • Own the measurement strategy connecting email, SMS, website, organic, and paid media into one clear, executive-ready narrative of what's working, what isn't, and where the biggest opportunities sit
  • Advise senior leadership on channel investment, pacing, and forecasting decisions, grounding recommendations in daily forecasting and attribution modeling
  • Lead forecasting for major sale events (BFCM, seasonal promotions, and other key calendar moments), partnering cross-functionally to align channel plans with demand expectations
  • Support marketing-mix and channel-efficiency analysis to inform where incremental spend works hardest, presenting recommendations directly to leadership

Reporting Infrastructure & Data Integrity
  • Set the recurring reporting cadence for the marketing org - from the weekly metrics pulse to the monthly business review - establishing a reliable rhythm of updates leadership can rely on
  • Own the dashboard and data infrastructure that gives the team a clear, always-current view of performance
  • Standardize metric definitions across channels and teams, and own data accuracy and consistency across reporting sources and platforms
  • Track and report on core KPIs across email/SMS (campaign and flow performance, deliverability, revenue per send, churn, LTV), website conversion and funnel performance, and paid media (spend, ROAS, CAC, channel efficiency)

Insights, Testing, & Optimization
  • Translate data into concise, actionable takeaways for the marketing and executive leadership teams
  • Own the test-and-learn agenda - designing and reading out A/B and incrementality tests across channels
  • Analyze cohort, LTV, and retention trends to track how customer value develops over time, and proactively surface trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities
  • Partner with channel owners to surface and act on opportunities that increase efficiency and drive better outcomes, not just report on what happened

This role will report to the Senior Director of Integrated Marketing. Preference for candidates in New York or Utah who can be hybrid in our offices 3 days per week. Also open to remote candidates.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, consumer insights, or marketing science, preferably in DTC or e-commerce, with a track record of advising senior leadership on strategy
  • Deep hands-on experience pulling and analyzing data across marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo, Postscript, Meta/TikTok Ads, GA4, Shopify), with strong SQL fluency and experience with BI or dashboarding tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
  • Proven ability to build measurement frameworks and reporting infrastructure from the ground up, not just operate within an existing one
  • Excellent ability to translate complex data into clear, confident narratives for executive and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong command of A/B testing, incrementality, and marketing measurement methodology

What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary and annual bonus based on company and individual performance
  • 21 days paid vacation + all federal holidays
  • Full health benefits (health, dental, vision, mental)
  • 16 weeks paid birth parent leave; 8 weeks non-birth parent leave
  • 55% off Lola Blankets for friends and family
  • Opportunities for career growth within Lola Blankets.
