Full Job Description
YOUR MISSION (The Job Description)

This position is responsible for the design, oversight and execution of all revenue generating programs, including database, mail, email, app, promotions, special events, player development, affiliate and independent agent. You will also collaborate with property marketing and gaming teams to ensure seamless execution and integration.

THE NITTY-GRITTY (The Essential Job Duties)
  • Work with the Vice President of Casino to develop strategies, goals, and budgets for all consumer programs/promotions, entertainment programming, and special events
  • Proactively plan, lead and execute casino marketing initiatives that drive accretive revenues and yield maximum profitability
  • Identify and prioritize new partnership opportunities that drive growth, expand market reach, or enhance customer experience
  • Develop and submit all rules and regulations to compliance and/or regulators for approval as required. Establish internal controls for all promotions and events
  • Lead and execute promotional requirements with various internal departments, external agencies, affiliated sponsors and other areas as required
  • Work with casino marketing communications, advertising, entertainment, social media, website and PR teams to ensure consistent communication strategies across all components of marketing
  • Effectively manage our hotel yield process to deliver maximum gaming revenues from our hotel guests
  • Prepare and manage the annual marketing budgets and recommendations for short and long-term revenue enhancements.
  • Manage all area respective financials
  • Initiate cost saving measures for the department that still provides consistency with quality and does not interrupt the business
  • Ability to apply data driven post event and promotional analysis to revise strategy and execution to drive profitability and efficiency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and promote excellent guest service and employee relations skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, economics, or finance and/or five (5) years of progressive marketing experience required
  • Previous experience as a senior leader in high volume complex casino environment with oversight of multiple FTEs in several of the following disciplines: advertising, casino marketing, database marketing, direct marketing, mass media, marketing communications
  • Exceptional knowledge of event execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage direct team and vendors
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft products/programs (I.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
  • Must possess financial analysis skills to evaluate marketing programs proforma/postforma
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with casino and slot management systems (i.e. IGT) required
  • 7+ years in marketing experience, with at least 5+ years in a management role

WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
  • Basic understanding of the Casino Marketing budget process
  • Knowledge of planning and executing events and promotions
  • Ability to define business requirements for technical solutions
  • Intermediate project management skills
  • Knowledge of IGT player tracking, rewards program and special events

THE WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Office work environment
  • Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for long periods of time and use all tools and equipment customary to the position
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged sitting, standing, stretching, bending, and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, CRT fatigue, sound, dust, cigarette smoke, light (including flashing lights), and pet dander/hair
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment, and maintain physical stamina and mental attitude while dealing effectively with guests, management, team members, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including nights, holidays and weekends
  • Minimal travel may be required for this position
