Full Job Description
The Purpose:

We are looking for a Director, IT PMO to join our team in Atlanta! In this role, you'll run governance, budget, vendor, and contract management for Czarnowski Collective's IT project portfolio, chairing the IT Steering Committee and driving executive alignment on priorities and risk across our Microsoft estate - including Dynamics 365 F&O, D365 Sales, Project Operations, and our Power BI/Fabric analytics environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role: rather than delegating our most complex or highest-risk projects, you'll personally lead them while overseeing the broader portfolio through your PMO team. You'll partner closely with the CIO on ERP and digital transformation initiatives, own capex/opex budgeting and forecasting, and be the person who keeps vendors, contracts, and cross-functional stakeholders aligned when priorities and trade-offs get complicated.

You'll build and lead a project management team, set the delivery standards they're held to, and drive the governance and methodology (hybrid agile/waterfall) that keeps ERP, data, and infrastructure projects moving. If you've established a PMO from the ground up or thrive translating technical initiatives into business impact for executive audiences, this role gives you the room to do both.

The Job:

Governance & Executive Alignment

  • Design and run IT governance, including chairing the IT Steering Committee and defining intake, prioritization, and stage-gating.
  • Drive executive and cross-functional stakeholder alignment on priorities, investment trade-offs, and risk.
  • Report portfolio and project status to executive leadership, covering risk, budget, schedule, and resourcing.

Portfolio & Project Delivery

  • Personally lead the most complex, high-risk, or high-visibility IT projects, while overseeing the broader portfolio through the PMO team.
  • Oversee delivery across the Microsoft estate (D365 F&O, D365 Sales, Project Operations, Power BI/Fabric), coordinating internal teams and implementation partners.
  • Define and enforce a consistent delivery methodology (hybrid agile/waterfall) across ERP, data, and infrastructure projects.
  • Own portfolio resource capacity planning, surfacing constraints and trade-offs.
  • Lead change management for IT-driven initiatives to ensure business adoption.
  • Drive post-implementation reviews to continuously improve delivery maturity.

Budget, Vendor & Contract Management

  • Own IT capex/opex budgeting, forecasting, variance management, and financial reporting to the CIO and finance.
  • Own vendor management: selection, performance, relationship governance, and issue escalation.
  • Own contract management: negotiating and administering SOWs and commercial terms through full lifecycle.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the project management team; set delivery standards and hold the team accountable.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years in IT project/program management, including 3+ years leading a PMO function.
  • Hands-on track record personally running complex, high-stakes projects, not just managing through a team.
  • Experience managing ERP implementations/upgrades (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or comparable strongly preferred).
  • Direct ownership of IT capex/opex budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting to leadership.
  • Experience designing and running IT governance structures, including an IT Steering Committee.
  • Proven executive stakeholder alignment on priorities, investment, and risk trade-offs.
  • Strong vendor management: selection, performance, and relationship governance.
  • Contract management experience: negotiating and administering SOWs and commercial terms.
  • Solid grounding in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project/portfolio management methodologies.
  • Proven people leadership: building, coaching, and developing a project management team.
  • Excellent executive communication skills, translating technical initiatives into business impact.
  • Experience leading change management for enterprise system or process rollouts.
  • Preferred: PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification; experience in manufacturing, exhibit house, events, or professional services; familiarity with Power BI/Fabric; experience establishing a PMO from an early stage of maturity.

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.

What we offer:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits effective within 30 days (or less) of your start date
  • 401K matching with no vesting period (you are fully vested as of day 1)
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Paid Holidays
  • Collaborative Work Environment
