Background
Invesco’s Internal Consulting team acts as a trusted advisor and transformation partner to senior leadership and business units. The team combines structured problem-solving with deep institutional knowledge to deliver high-impact change initiatives that align with the firm’s strategic priorities. Our work spans operating model design and implementation, operational efficiency, regulatory readiness, digital transformation, large scale enterprise transformation, to name a few.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, multi-regional consulting engagements across business and technology domains.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to members of the executive and senior leadership teams, influencing decisions in both individual and group forums.
- Build and maintain a sustainable network of senior client relationships across the firm.
- Provide thought leadership and deep expertise across consulting domains including operating model, technology, data, regulatory, and strategy.
- Structure and manage highly complex programs, while also overseeing delivery by Senior Principal Consultants.
- Anticipate and address challenges in executive forums with confidence and credibility.
- Drive the evolution of the Internal Consulting practice by leading strategic initiatives and gaining leadership buy-in.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Actively coach, mentor, and develop team members, with a track record of helping others achieve their potential.
Experience, Knowledge and Qualifications required for role:
Experience / Knowledge
· 10+ years of experience in management consulting or internal transformation roles, ideally in financial services (asset management preferred).
· Proven ability to lead and scale consulting teams in a global, matrixed environment.
· Deep understanding of the Financial services and / or Asset management industry
· Strong executive presence and ability to influence at the highest levels.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
