As we deepen our presence across long-term care, assisted living, and acute care, the data connections that link MealSuite to EMRs, dietary platforms, and third-party providers have become central to customer value, clinical outcomes, and revenue growth.
The Director, Integration Services is a senior leadership role at the intersection of technical delivery, cross-functional strategy, and go-to-market execution. Reporting to the VP, Customer Experience, this leader will own MealSuite's integration practice end-to-end, leading a team, partnering closely with Engineering and technical delivery teams, and serving as the connective tissue between Revenue, CX, and the broader technology organization. This role is designed with forward vision: as MealSuite's integration footprint evolves, this Director is positioned to grow into broader strategic ownership within CX.
What You'll DoIntegration Team Leadership (15%) - Lead, coach, and grow a team of Integration Specialists and a Program Manager, setting clear expectations, development goals, and performance standards
- Build team capacity to handle an expanding integration portfolio across LTC, assisted living, and acute care environments
- Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and customer-centricity within the Integrations team
- Establish career development pathways and succession planning for team members
Integrations GTM Strategy & Messaging (20%) - Own MealSuite's integrations go-to-market strategy, including market positioning, messaging frameworks, and sales enablement
- Serve as the primary integrations subject matter expert in prospect conversations, RFP responses, industry events, and partner discussions
- Develop integration-specific collateral - solution sheets, competitive comparisons, and objection-handling guides - in collaboration with Marketing and Sales
- Partner with Revenue leadership to embed integration strategy into sales plays, partner programs, and expansion motions
- Leverage AI in messaging and tooling to support the GTM motion
Cross-Functional Alignment (15%) - Bridge Engineering, CX (Support, Implementation, CSM, CX Ops), and Revenue teams to ensure alignment across the integration lifecycle
- Maintain visibility into the full integration pipeline, proactively surfacing risks or gaps to relevant stakeholders
- Contribute integration-specific insight to key customer QBRs, strategic account reviews, and executive conversations
- Translate integration feedback from CX and field teams into actionable inputs for the product and engineering roadmap
Technical Leadership & Engineering Partnership (15%) - Serve as the primary business-side liaison to Engineering, ensuring integration priorities are clearly defined, resourced, and executed
- Translate customer and market requirements into structured technical briefs, scoping documents, and acceptance criteria
- Facilitate regular cross-functional syncs between Integrations, Engineering, and CX to review pipelines, resolve blockers, and align on delivery timelines
- Represent the customer and field perspective in technical design discussions, ensuring solutions are implementation-ready and supportable post-launch
- Partner with Engineering to evaluate AI tooling that accelerates integration delivery and data health monitoring
Integration Delivery & Partner Management (15%) - Oversee end-to-end delivery of new EMR partnerships and data provider integrations across all MealSuite segments
- Manage relationships with integration partners - including EMR vendors, HL7/API partners, and third-party data providers - ensuring commitments are met on both sides
- Define and maintain documentation standards: technical specifications, onboarding guides, testing protocols, and go-live checklists
- Monitor integration health across the installed base and proactively address issues before escalation, leveraging AI-assisted monitoring where possible
Operations, Enablement & Governance (20%) - Establish standards and governance models for how integrations are scoped, contracted, tested, launched, and supported at scale
- Build and maintain an integration knowledge base for internal teams covering supported integrations, partner capabilities, known limitations, and escalation paths
- Develop enablement programs for Implementation, CSM, and Sales teams to improve integration literacy across the organization
- Track the competitive and regulatory landscape (HL7 v2, FHIR, etc.) and ensure MealSuite stays ahead of market shifts
- Champion an AI-forward approach to integration delivery, evaluating how AI can elevate velocity and operational effectiveness
What You Bring Required - 7+ years of experience in Integration Management, Technical Program Management, Solutions Engineering, or Professional Services
- 5+ years of people management with a proven track record of developing technical or cross-functional teams
- 3+ years working with Mirth Connect or similar integration engines, including upgrades, configuration, and performance tuning
- 3+ years monitoring integration platforms and data flows for SLA compliance
- 3+ years serving as a bridge between Engineering and business-facing teams, translating requirements in both directions with credibility
- 3+ years owning or contributing to integration GTM strategy including messaging, enablement, or partner positioning
- Strong working knowledge of integration platforms such as Mirth Connect
- Working EMR knowledge and familiarity with healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR, X12)
- Experience implementing and enforcing data security protocols: encryption, access controls, and audit documentation
- Knowledge of API platform operations
- Collaborative leader who builds team culture and communicates complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive, ownership-driven problem-solver who anticipates risks and follows through on commitments
- Security-minded with a strong focus on compliance and data protection
Nice to Have - Experience configuring and managing VPN connections and SFTP/API operations for secure data exchange
- Familiarity with observability tooling (Datadog), incident response platforms (PagerDuty), and job scheduling/orchestration (Airflow, NiFi)
- Experience with cloud networking and security (Azure or AWS) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)
- Scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks: HIPAA, SOC 2, and audit documentation
In Your First Year - Evaluate the MIRTH system and research alternatives (0-6 months)
- Assess the current SFTP system and recommend alternatives (0-6 months)
- Help implement and maintain integration monitoring infrastructure (0-6 months)
Compensation $140,000-$170,000 CAD per year $150,000-$180,000 USD per year
This role is based onsite in our Cambridge or Dallas office. Some travel (approximately 10%) is required.
