This leader will translate healthcare client needs into differentiated Services offerings, a focused go-to-market strategy, and measurable commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of healthcare economics, stakeholder needs, and operational challenges, together with a proven ability to develop solutions, build partnerships, and deliver growth. They will identify where Mastercard's advisory, data, analytics, fraud, cyber, and other Services capabilities can create meaningful value for healthcare clients and ecosystem partners.
Partnering closely with Global Healthcare, regional teams, Services Product, Sales, and Delivery, this leader will connect healthcare priorities with Mastercard's capabilities to develop relevant offerings and scale adoption across markets.
Key Responsibilities
Define the global Healthcare Services strategy
• Own the Healthcare Services strategy and roadmap, aligned with Global Healthcare and Services priorities.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities across players, providers, healthcare platforms, health technology companies, and ecosystem partners.
• Assess client needs, market potential, and Mastercard's ability to deliver differentiated value; balance near-term revenue opportunities with longer-term business development.
• Translate global priorities into actionable regional plans that reflect local healthcare systems and market needs.
Develop differentiated healthcare offerings
• Apply deep healthcare expertise to identify client challenges across reimbursement, revenue cycle management, payment operations, fraud, risk, and operational efficiency.
• Adapt existing Mastercard Services capabilities to healthcare needs and identify gaps requiring new solutions or partnerships.
• Partner with Product, analytics, innovation, and Delivery teams to develop and launch flagship healthcare Services offerings.
• Work with anchor clients to validate value propositions, demonstrate measurable impact, and establish repeatable solutions.
• Ensure offerings reflect healthcare data, privacy, regulatory, and operational requirements, working with relevant internal experts.
Lead commercialization and growth
• Build and execute the Healthcare Services go-to-market approach, including client segmentation, value propositions, packaging, pricing, and sales enablement.
• Build and manage the global Healthcare Services opportunity pipeline with regional Sales and account teams, maintaining clear ownership, accurate forecasts, and disciplined follow-through.
• Lead the Services component of strategic client engagements, from needs assessment and solution development through commercial proposals and agreement.
• Establish performance measures linking activity to Services revenue, client outcomes, and contribution to the broader healthcare business.
Drive execution and organizational alignment
• Coordinate with Services Delivery and Product teams to ensure successful implementation, timely value realization, and referenceable client outcomes.
• Equip regional and account teams with healthcare-specific expertise, commercial tools, and repeatable go-to-market approaches.
• Bring client and market feedback into product development and investment decisions.
• Build senior client relationships and represent Mastercard's Healthcare Services proposition in industry forums and strategic discussions.

• Experience working with healthcare organizations such as health plans, provider networks, health technology companies, or healthcare platforms.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including opportunity sizing, business case development, pricing, and pipeline management.
• Ability to shape strategy and drive hands-on execution in an evolving business, making sound decisions with imperfect information.
• Proven ability to influence and mobilize cross-functional teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
• Excellent executive communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Preferred
• Experience spanning multiple markets and an understanding of how healthcare systems and commercial models differ internationally.
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem.
