ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Global Quality Management Systems (QMS) is responsible for the strategic leadership, development, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System and Quality Data Management capabilities. This role ensures a digitally enabled, data-driven, and increasingly predictive quality organization through advanced analytics and responsible use of AI technologies.

The Director serves as the QMS, Quality Data, and Predictive Quality subject matter expert, partnering cross-functionally to embed quality by design and proactively manage risk.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
  • Own the global QMS strategy, including quality data capabilities, analytics, and predictive quality roadmap
  • Define maturity goals for digital quality, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities aligned with business strategy
  • Oversee core QMS processes including:
    • Document Control
    • Change Management
    • CAPA
    • Deviations / Nonconformances
    • Complaints and Post-Market Surveillance
    • Management Review
    • Quality Risk Management
    • Training & Learning Management Systems
  • Drive optimization and automation of QMS workflows using digital tools, and analytics
  • Ensure integration of eQMS with enterprise systems to enable end-to-end quality visibility
  • Establish enterprise-level quality data governance, including standards, ownership, lineage, and lifecycle management
  • Support the development and deployment of advanced quality metrics, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends, signals, and emerging risks
  • Enable predictive quality capabilities, such as:
    • Early detection of quality events and deviations
    • Predictive CAPA and risk prioritization
    • Proactive supplier and process risk monitoring
  • Partner with Data, Digital, and IT teams to leverage machine learning and statistical models to improve quality outcomes while maintaining compliance
  • Build and lead a high-performing QMS team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Member Support, IT, and Digital teams
  • Champion a proactive, predictive, and data-driven quality culture focused on prevention rather than reaction
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field required
  • Advanced degree (MS, MBA, or equivalent) preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Quality
  • 3+ years leading QMS with accountability for quality data, systems, and analytics
  • Experience implementing digital quality, advanced analytics, or Quality Improvement initiatives

  • Experience with eQMS platforms, data visualization, and analytics tools

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including, without limitation, experience and business objectives and if the location for the job changes.
