Full Job Description
The Director, Global Membership & Engagement, plays a central role in advancing this mission by leading the growth and engagement of WEConnect International's global membership community. Membership represents the organization's largest source of revenue, making this role critical to sustaining and expanding WEConnect International's global impact.

This position is responsible for recruiting new members, maintaining strong relationships with existing members, and ensuring the organization delivers meaningful value to procurement, supply chain, ESG, and supply chain leaders seeking to expand opportunities for women-owned businesses.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business development and relationship management skills, along with an understanding of how large organizations operate-particularly in procurement, supply chains, inclusive sourcing, and ESG initiatives. This individual will be comfortable engaging senior leaders from global corporations and institutions and representing WEConnect International in international forums and industry events.

Duties/Responsibilities

Growing Global Membership

  • Identify, cultivate, and recruit new members globally, including corporations, multilateral institutions, and government agencies.
  • Build relationships with procurement, supply chain, ESG, and inclusive sourcing leaders.
  • Manage and track a pipeline of prospective members using CRM systems such as HubSpot.
  • Clearly communicate the strategic and business value of WEConnect International membership.
  • Meet membership recruitment and revenue targets.

Strengthening Member Engagement

  • Serve as a primary relationship manager for members.
  • Maintain strong connections with procurement and inclusive sourcing leaders.
  • Ensure members receive the programs, insights, and connections promised through membership.
  • Monitor member satisfaction and identify opportunities to deepen engagement and improve retention.
  • Encourage member participation in WEConnect programs, events, and initiatives.

Represent WEConnect International Globally

  • Represent the organization at global conferences, trade fairs, and industry events.
  • Deliver presentations to procurement and leadership audiences.
  • Promote the business case for inclusive sourcing.
  • Expand WEConnect International's visibility within global supply chain and procurement communities.

Support Strategic Partnerships and Corporate Engagement

  • Identify opportunities for corporate sponsorships and collaborative initiatives.
  • Support partnerships that strengthen the WEConnect International ecosystem.
  • Work with leadership to expand strategic relationships with organizations committed to inclusive supply chains.

Contribute to Strategy and Organizational Growth

  • Support annual and long-term strategies for membership growth.
  • Track membership performance, revenue targets, and engagement metrics.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to strengthen membership services.
  • Collaborate across teams to improve programs and offerings for members.
