- Build software with a reliability-first mindset, incorporating secure coding practices, observability, testing, and disciplined rollout/rollback strategies.
- Ensure production systems meet required levels of resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
- 12+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated depth in full-stack engineering and system / application architecture.
- Prior experience in securities, financial services, or modern engineering-first organizations is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streaming-based APIs.
- Hands-on experience delivering cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.
- Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data stores, selected and applied appropriately at scale.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled capabilities, including GenAI or ML-driven services, to enhance developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes, with a pragmatic understanding of responsible use, scalability, and integration into enterprise platforms.
