  • Own the development budget and portfolio-level reporting for renewables and storage, presenting project status, risk assessments, and investment recommendations to the Chief Engineer & Development Officer and executive leadership.
  • Lead commercial technical negotiations and provide technical leadership on key project agreements including land leases, interconnection agreements, offtake contracts (PPAs, tolling agreements, behind-the-meter arrangements), and EPC and equipment supply contracts.
  • Serve as Priority Power's primary external representative for the renewables and storage portfolio, engaging with customers, utilities, RTOs/ISOs, landowners, regulators, and industry stakeholders to advance projects and build the company's market position.
  • Work with internal construction management team on contractor selection process.
  • Coordinate with construction management team on securing other permits.
  • Handoff projects once fully developed and permitted to construction management team.
  • Participate in project financings answering relevant diligence questions and providing required documents.
  • Coordinate additional resources or outside consultants/contractors as well as managing and meeting expenses throughout project development.
  • Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and best practices across the renewables and storage team, leveraging lessons learned to improve project quality, reduce cycle time, and manage risk.
  • Provide strategic input to Business Development and Origination on customer targeting, product structuring, and market positioning for renewables and storage offerings.
