The Director, Finance & Logistics is a member of the Canadian Leadership Team and serves as the primary Finance Business Partner to the General Manager and business leaders. The role is responsible for leading all finance and logistics activities for the Canadian affiliate, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, internal controls, inventory management, and logistics operations.

The position provides forward-looking financial insights, challenges and influences business decisions, and supports the achievement of strategic and operational objectives. The Director ensures compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and Canadian regulatory requirements while driving business performance, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Your day at Ferring

Finance Leadership & Business Partnering
  • Act as strategic advisor to the General Manager and Leadership Team.
  • Provide financial guidance, performance analysis, and decision support.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions to meet business objectives.
  • Drive resource allocation decisions through financial analysis and business insights.


Financial Management & Compliance
  • Oversee accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, corporate policies, and Canadian statutory requirements.
  • Lead tax, transfer pricing, treasury, cash flow, and banking activities.
  • Monitor financial performance and key business metrics.


Logistics & Inventory Management
  • Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and logistics operations.
  • Ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels and working capital.
  • Support product launches and supply chain initiatives.
  • Maintain effective inventory controls and compliance standards.


People Leadership
  • Lead, develop, and coach the Finance & Logistics team.
  • Set objectives, manage performance, and support talent development.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.


Process Improvement
  • Drive process optimization, automation, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support implementation of global finance initiatives, systems, and best practices.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
