The Team You'll Join

You'll join a high-performing sales organization focused on driving adoption of Envestnet's Managed Accounts platform across Regional and National Accounts. This team plays a critical role in generating pipeline, supporting revenue growth, and strengthening advisor engagement.

As Director, FA Sales, you will lead a team of Associate Regional Consultants responsible for prospecting, campaign execution, and delivering qualified opportunities. You'll partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment centered on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

How You'll Contribute

Provides leadership and oversight for a team(s) responsible for driving growth by building and managing relationships with financial advisers (FAs) and advisory firms. Focuses on understanding client needs and positioning company technology, managed account solutions and investment offerings to support client business objectives. Drives platform adoption, advisor acquisition and asset growth across territories by optimizing sales processes, territory coverage and client engagement models.
• Coaches and develops team members on pipeline management, deal strategy, client engagement, sales acumen, product expertise, and consultative engagement skills.
• Provides structured coaching through regular 1:1s, call reviews, and in-field development, while building individualized development plans, succession planning, and talent strategies.
• Fosters a high-performance, inclusive culture centered on accountability, execution, growth, communication, recognition, and leadership visibility.
• Monitors sales performance, forecasts revenue, and ensures consistent pipeline health across the team by inspecting activity, pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue contribution.
• Identifies performance gaps and implements targeted coaching and action plans to improve individual and team results.
• Partners with Senior Account Executives, Regional and National Accounts leadership, Regional Directors, and Regional Consultants to align priorities, coverage, and campaign management.
• Serves as a key connector across sales, marketing, product, service, and training teams to align go-to-market efforts, coordinate execution, and improve client outcomes.
• Supports strategic initiatives, campaigns, and events that drive advisor engagement, Managed Account adoption, platform growth, advisor acquisition, and asset growth.
• Oversees key client relationships, structuring strategic deals and handling escalated issues and concerns.
• Drives adoption of sales processes, tools, CRM usage, campaign management, sales discipline, and effective follow-up on leads, campaigns, referrals, and advisor interactions.
• Ensures team maintains deep knowledge of Envestnet's Managed Accounts platform and PMC investment solutions, including direct indexing, tax overlay, and strategist offerings.
• Analyzes team performance data, industry trends, advisor needs, and competitive dynamics to generate insights and translate them into actionable strategies and coaching priorities.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory, legal, risk, and internal policy standards while maintaining operational excellence across all team activity and processes.

• Candidates should demonstrate the relevant experience, skills, and capabilities needed to successfully perform in the role. Relevant experience may be gained through current responsibilities, prior roles, project work, leadership opportunities, or other comparable experiences.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record of coaching and developing talent to achieve and exceed sales goals.
• Understanding of the advisory business model, portfolio construction, and practice management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching capabilities.
• Ability to travel approximately 15% for field engagement and team development.
