Director, Enterprise Strategy. In this role, you will lead the development, refinement, and activation of the firm's enterprise strategy while partnering closely with senior executives across the organization as well as other business and technology leaders to assess, prioritize, and accelerate AI-enabled initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, value creation objectives, and responsible governance practices.
This is a high-visibility leadership position for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, turning insights into action, and influencing enterprise-level decision making. You will lead a team responsible for strategic planning, competitive intelligence, market insights, and major strategic initiatives that help shape the future direction of the firm.
What You'll Do Shape Enterprise Strategic Direction - Partner with the Enterprise Leadership Team and senior stakeholders to define strategic priorities and business objectives
- Translate internal and external insights into actionable strategic recommendations
- Assess long-term trends, emerging opportunities, and enterprise risks to inform the evolution of the firm's strategy
Drive Strategic Execution - Lead strategic analyses and cross-functional initiatives that inform enterprise priorities and executive decision making
- Monitor industry, market, customer, and competitive trends and assess their impact on firm strategy
- Identify emerging opportunities and risks and elevate key findings to executive leadership
Build Competitive & Market Intelligence Capabilities - Lead the evolution of the firm's competitive insights function, including strategy, governance, operating model, and enabling tools
- Transform external signals and market intelligence into decision-ready insights for firm leaders
- Oversee the synthesis and distribution of industry, customer, competitor, and market intelligence across the organization
- Lead the evaluation and application of artificial intelligence capabilities to enhance strategic planning, competitive intelligence, decision support, and enterprise-wide business insights
- Partner with business and technology leaders to identify and apply AI capabilities that enhance strategic planning, competitive intelligence, decision support, and enterprise insights, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, value creation objectives, and responsible governance practices
Lead Strategic Analysis & Problem Solving - Frame and solve complex business challenges using both qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Develop strategic hypotheses, gather and analyze data, and present recommendations to executive audiences
- Partner with business and functional leaders to address critical enterprise opportunities and challenges
- Identify emerging AI trends, technologies, business models, and market developments, translating their potential impact into strategic recommendations that inform firm priorities and long-term growth opportunities
Influence Across the Organization - Lead the evolution of the firm's competitive insights capability, establishing the strategy, governance, operating model, and enabling technologies like AI required to transform external signals into scalable, decision-ready intelligence for firm leaders
- Facilitate executive workshops, alignment sessions, and strategy discussions that drive informed decisions and stakeholder buy-in
- Design and deliver leadership learning experiences that strengthen strategic and industry acumen across the firm
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and represent enterprise strategy in leadership forums
Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team - Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to a team responsible for core strategy work and special strategic initiatives
- Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Position RequirementsWhat You'll Bring - Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
- 11+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, business transformation, strategic planning, or a related field
- Demonstrated success developing and influencing enterprise-level strategy
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
- Experience leading strategic initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to connect market trends, competitive dynamics, and business performance
