Opportunity OverviewThe
Technical Product Owner (DevOps) owns the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the organization's DevOps platform and engineering enablement capabilities, partnering across engineering, infrastructure, cloud, architecture, and security to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platform services. The role combines product ownership, technical expertise, and operational discipline to guide DevOps platform strategy, enable delivery execution, and support engineering teams with secure, scalable, and efficient capabilities.
This role drives backlog prioritization, requirements definition, stakeholder alignment, platform adoption, and efficient software delivery through modern DevOps practices. It requires technical depth across cloud, CI/CD, infrastructure, security, Agile product management, and strong communication skills; hands-on software development experience is a plus.
What You'll Do - Own and prioritize the DevOps platform roadmap and backlog, aligning engineering, cloud, infrastructure, security, and business objectives.
- Define epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical requirements to guide delivery execution.
- Partner with architects, engineering leaders, and stakeholders to mature DevOps capabilities as an internal platform product.
- Drive Agile planning, backlog refinement, release planning, cross-functional alignment, and delivery transparency.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and blockers, ensuring timely escalation, resolution, and stakeholder communication.
- Support CI/CD, automation, developer experience, platform reliability, operational efficiency, documentation, governance visibility, and secure software delivery.
Position RequirementsWhat Experience You'll Need:- Strong understanding of cloud services, networking, IAM, storage, monitoring, logging, observability, containers, virtualization, and platform operations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD, build-test-deploy workflows, release management, branching strategies, pipeline orchestration, artifact management, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, secure software delivery, SAST, DAST, SCA, RBAC, vulnerability management, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting developer platforms, DevOps toolchains, automation, and engineering enablement services.
- Own DevOps platform product execution by refining the backlog, translating technical needs into clear deliverables, and prioritizing work based on business value, technical priorities, and stakeholder needs.
- Track roadmap progress, commitments, risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items while driving continuous improvement across processes, tooling, documentation, automation, and user experience.
- Maintain Jira, Confluence, and related documentation for platform capabilities, requirements, workflows, and operating processes, and produce leadership-ready status updates, dashboards, and reports.
- Experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting DevOps, cloud, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
- Strong Agile, Scrum, product management, stakeholder management, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes.
