The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Director of Marketing to lead faculty engagement across the Education segment.
In this role, you will support post-sale engagement through digital demand generation alongside specialized high-touch events. You will lead a group in crafting marketing approaches that build interest and engagement for Adobe tools, ultimately driving usage with students.
This is a high-impact leadership role that requires strong cross-functional collaboration among Product Marketing, Customer Success Management, Community, and Sales.
What You’ll DoDigital Marketing & High-Touch Events- Define a full-funnel marketing strategy with a strong focus on digital channels to drive awareness, engagement, and usage of Adobe tools
- Partner closely with analytics teams to define success metrics (e.g., monthly active use, feature adoption, engagement depth) and continuously optimize performance
- Deploy AI solutions to improve efficiencies within the team and expand digital marketing and intent signals from customer accounts
- Align with Sales and Customer Success to ensure marketing programs support account growth and retention goals
Customer Use Case Content- Lead the development of education-specific use cases that demonstrate real-world value of Adobe tools
- Direct a team of subject matter experts to find, craft, and amplify customer examples and produce high-quality content across formats (case studies, playbooks, tutorials, campaigns)
- Partner with Product Marketing to align messaging with the product roadmap
Leadership, Cross-Functional Collaboration & AI Evangelism- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing marketing team and influence senior collaborators by providing clear insights, strategy, and performance reporting
- Collaborate across global and regional teams to ensure consistent yet locally relevant execution
- Lead the adoption of AI tools across the team and cultivate a strong culture of experimentation
Skills Needed to Succeed- Over 10 years in marketing, with extensive experience in digital marketing or demand generation
- Proven track record of driving product adoption, engagement, or usage growth—ideally in SaaS or subscription models
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
- Outstanding collaborator across multiple functions with the capability to influence without formal authority
- Strong storytelling skills—able to translate complex products into clear, compelling value propositions
- Experience applying AI tools to boost efficiencies throughout marketing, demand generation, and lead scoring
- Preferred to have experience in marketing within the Education segment
Expected Pay Range:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $170,000 -- $320,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $221,000 - $320,000
In New York, the pay range for this position is $221,000 - $320,000
In Washington, the pay range for this position is $198,000 - $286,650
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
