Director Data Services & Enablement - Tampa, FL

Your 'day to day':

As the Director, Data Services & Enablement, you will lead the reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of our enterprise data foundation-ensuring trusted, high-quality data is consistently available across the organization. You will:
  • Own the operational health of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), including ingestion, pipelines, orchestration, and platform services supporting analytics and data products.
  • Establish strong operational rhythms (monitoring, health checks, incident management, runbooks, and release coordination) and drive continuous improvement in reliability and MTTR.
  • Lead enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adoption of master data domains such as customer, product, and location.
  • Operationalize data quality, governance, and compliance practices in partnership with IT, Security, and Compliance teams.
  • Run transparent intake, prioritization, and execution processes for data operations requests, ensuring predictable and well-communicated delivery.
  • Optimize platform performance and cost, manage vendor and partner SLAs, and drive automation to improve throughput and reduce manual effort.
  • Build, lead, and develop high-performing data operations, stewardship, and data quality teams focused on ownership and operational rigor.


Who we're looking for:
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Commutable distance to Tampa, FL.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or platform operations, with 5+ years leading and developing teams.
  • Proven experience running production-grade data environments with SLAs, incident and problem management, and operational controls.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with data quality practices, MDM operations, and data governance workflows.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, ELT/ETL orchestration, and data observability and monitoring patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with IT, Security, and Compliance to ensure data integrity, access controls, audit-ability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


Annual Base Salary Range: $220,000 - $275,000
